About	We had an ice storm last year, so the background for this is a 'kaleidoscope' of one of my photos of the ice-covered branches...then added beautiful Anna, of course.:) WINTER NIGHT "I've wandered through darkness to snow-covered fields where the silence would fill me with wonder. I have gazed at the sky where with startling brilliance the stars shone as cold little gems set in the veil of a silken-clad dame called the Night. Where the moon sent forth beams that were piercing and sharp through the cold. I have stood where the chill of the wind was almost too icy to bear, While my spirit would soar through the bitterly beautiful night. I have stepped onto ice-covered ponds and glided alone, unnoticed, Where even the smallest of animals could not be seen, for the frost was too cutting. Then I've walked home, stiff, half-frozen, but thrilled by the glorious hour I'd spent in the presence of God on a wintery night!" Shirley D. Cross
