I knew that technique from the thumbnail!
YEP, Shes a beauty. I finally uderstand it thanks to a friend that explain it too me on
the phone last weekend! I've been wanting to learn it but never could find anyone to explain
it sooo simply as he did! Thanks to him I can go out and try this.....Something Ive been wanting to do for years! lol
You do it so excellently Shirley! I love all your double exposures......If you have any tips to pass to me it would be much appreciated!
This is a two exposures in the one frame, yes?
And how did you expose the first differently than the second time......:)

So glad you like it...thank you, Paul!:) Just take one totally in focus, then one totally out of focus on the same frame. Just remember to open your aperature as wide as possible for the OOF exposure, but be careful not to move your camera. The effect varies with the focal length of the lens you are using. You just have to experiment.

I have just come to the end of my rationed time my sweet Shirley and I have come to take a look around the many shots of yours that I missed whilst away from UF.
This is so beautiful sweetie with it's superb dof and those gorgeous blurry background colours in the bokeh. The delicate and soft finish to the foreground grasses is unbelievably awesome. I love this fabulous floral study and it goes into my favourites. I very very rarely select favourites and in the year I have been with UF I have only got five others........ A big hug to my special talented girl and my very best wishes as always......Ray;) ;)
