One of my critical pet peeves... I live and die Ilinois right now... but I was birthed in Indiana... and in Illinois they are "pumpkins" but where I grew up and to this day, this hour, this minute, this second... they are now and forever; "pun'kins." Yeah... "pun'kins."

LOL!
When Van was born, some 21 years ago, he was rather billiard-ball-like for almost a year. My pet name for him was 'pun'kin haid' and for his first Halloween (at 8 months) I taped some orange triangles and a jagged orange smile to the BACK of his haid. ;)
