About This MOSSY pool was found in one of the many tiny riverlets that feed Carnarvon Creek running thro' a LUSH tropical Carnarvon Nat Park in SEMI-ARID south east Queensland. I have been back several times, each a different story. It's a Photographers paradise with amazing diversity in plants and animals!

This photograph is particularly deceptive. At first I thougth I was looking at the crook of a tree--but there was a reflection that didn't make sense. The scale is everywhichway. I still can't make sense of it just by looking at it. Great work. I know this maybe doesn't sound like a compliment but it is, I assure you.

James, knowing your work, I appreciate your comment as a compliment!
