Pretty as a picture Annemette. I like the crop ....
Of course the image is not bad either (ha!) It's lovely, the flowers, the iron work and I can't really notice any glass but I do believe You ! What a beautiful treasure to find ...

Best Wishes,
Michele~

A very unusual composition, Annemette, that manages to use the straight metal pieces as elements that fit very well to the otherwise very natural appearance. The light in the middle bottom is very unconventional - I guess a combination of the reflection of the glass and the shining gray of the inner walls? It looks as if a very distinct lighting were coming from the depth. And those shining colors of the plants appear just as the natural continuations of that light.

Intriguing!

Take care,

Nick

Oh Annemette!!! This is a stunning composition. Just plays with the eyes so very much! The lines, the lower lights, the crop . . . just very VERY cool!!

Thank you for this wonderful comment and all the other ones that I appreciate so very much, Mary. This well looked so magical although I would have prefered that it was not covered by glass.
Best wishes,
Annemette

Thank you. Drop a penny in the well and make a wish:-)

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:91070} 9/20/2006
Annemette, I keep on dropping but nothing happens. In the mean while the bank clerks look irritated when I want to change yet another role of pennies! What the heck, don't they know what pennies are really for? ;-)

Anyway, I'm running out of pennies and that wish keeps on returning in my mind. Like a bad penny. ;-)

Hmmm, which of course means that I will always have at least one penny, but dropping this very penny in the well will be to separate from that wish, i.e. no more wish it. Hmmm, in this case dropping the penny will not have any meaning, since there would be no wish. So I keep it. Thus I do have the the wish, so I drop it... etc.

Oh my, don't start mathematics when it comes to wishes, pennies, and wells ;-) I'd rather assume that the whole staff down the well is on vacations ;-)

Cheers,

Nick

P.S.: BTW, anybody, pennies out there? ;-)

i like its composition and also your poit of view!
bravo Annemette!

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55377} 9/20/2006
Sometimes it can be better just to jump out in the water and let the currents lead you - not the currency;-)
Best wishes,
Annemette

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:91070} 9/21/2006
Great then: Let's go!

1,2,3, jump and let the current lead me.

In the air now, falling. I hope that the current from a usual socket 220V/10A will be enough when I reach the water.

Landiiiing: Bzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

You were right! An electrifing experience! With the added value of knowing how they came to the idea for "Smoke on the water"! ;-)
