not sure on this Shirley; of couse there are many good points: she is beautiful, she is posing very relaxed, the black shawl is beautiful and the balance between lights and shadows is very good as well and finally i love the black bkg. Having said that, i´m not crazy with the postprocessing: light is a bit hard, the partial desaturation does not work for me in this occasion, the surface of the face is too "plastic" for me and there is a strange white halo on the left side of her face. Overall i like the image but i think a better postprocessing may imrprove it. Cheers my good lady...jd

I love Purple, I have always wanted to make me a velvit coat purple on one side and Gold on the other, so it could be turned and wear the other other color to, but that velvet is so high, I have a patten, and one day when I get real old I'll hope to have the money, but by then I may not be able to see.

Wow...that is young! But then, my first 'real' love was when I was 11 and he was 13.:) We spent hours that summer just sitting in a big walnut tree, holding hands and looking into each other's eyes...hardly speaking...but that was all we needed then. But I was so shy that when he had to leave and asked to kiss me, I said no...he should have just kissed me!!!But he never forgave me, and my heart was broken. Hopefully, you and your wife are still very happy, Avi! And I wish for my dear Jasmine the same.:)
