A gong used at our church by our minister to mark the start and end of a period of silence for reflection.
Note: The lighting on this was as seen. It is coming through stained glass windows at the First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee. However, where it was located, it's usual spot on the Chancell, there was a portion of wood behind it that I felt drew attention from the subject. In photoshop I used the burn tool to darken that area. No other adjustments were made.
