About Just a mindless Sunday afternoon play, converting an image to an abstract.

Cropped "Nothing more", converted to grayscale, used layers to filter (glowing edges, diffuse) at light opacities, converted back to RGB and colorized.

Very cool shot! I love playing around with photos too... and I love what you've done with this one! Very interesting and eye catching, nice work :)

I like the color and the great textures, I wish I could learn how to work with layers, it looks like fun, I guess I could learn but just need more time. Excellent job.

Thank you again, Barbara. I'd be happy to help you with the basics of layers, it is rather simple as long as you open up the layers manager and understand what's going on with it.

Thank you Rachel, I'll plan on visiting your portfolio and see what kind of "play" you've done.

Best wishes,
Dave

Hello Dave, I am the one who needs to thank you, because I can use all the help I can get, I don't know anything about layers, but when I am trying to read, there is so much to read. I learn better if some one tell me and then I can do it.
