About this is a redo of a image i posted yesterday. It is not a lot differnt other then i am using Autostitch instead of Photoshop's Photomerge which i found wanting. Autostitch does a seemless job and is FREE..for PC's not available for mac :(

Which do you like better this shot or the previous?

Beauty view, Tim. Nice to see pics from high mountains that are brilliant, yet not necessarily evening light. As I recall, it is a bit of a hike out that you wouldn't want to do in the dark.

Hi Dave,

We shot film until the sun was gone before heading back. It is only 3.5 km in so the walk back was just fine and didn't need a headlamp at all. In fact we left Calgary 3:30pm to get there for sunset which allowed us enough thime to shoot for a hour and then head home again afterwards.....We are fast walkers.....lol

Great picture. I like this version better as the mountain has a "more natural" view, particularly of the middle-right area. The colours are more appealing to me.

Excellent!

Cheers!

Francisco

PS work - basically a lot of masking around seperate parts of the photograph, then using levels.

Color balance and saturation.
