About HDR treatment of many shots across stops of Bloucher Falls. HDR allows for some treatment of the falls in deep shadow on a bright day.

Great shot Michael, detail in every shadow and highlight! What is the range of this exposure and in what size steps? It has been recommended to me to purchase photomatix for HDR and tonemapping, do you use this software? Regards, Collin.

A very pretty image, Michael! Well captured!

I think it was at least 8 stops, a large range.

Downloaded Photomatrix just now and I expect to see even better results. This version was created in Photoshop and it really only covers some basics.

I can't wait to try this out, thanks for the suggestion.

wonderful falls, great capture, nice use of slow shutter.

Hey Collin:

Posted new Photomatix comparison. It is better in my opinion, but not sure if it is $$ much better. You see.

First I would like to thank you for your comment about my butterfly...
I've always like the look of the water in the falls, I haven quite mastered this type of shot. This is a great shot!
