Inspector Kadam is from City Police and D. Nakhwa is in a Yacht club rescue team. Both did a remarkable job during the Floods in Mumbai city on July 26, 2005. My brief was to photograph them as "Heros amongst Us" for the Year End issue of OUTLOOK weekly. I requested them to come to a seaside club in the city and shot them at the dusk time when the city illuminates at the back. Both co-operated with me till I was satisfied with the shoot. Frankly, The picture was made by them. I just happened to click it.
