besides the more important aspects that images have for me, ie. emotional appeal and thought provocation (which this doesn't really have for me), technically speaking: it seems that you have problems with contrast here: No detail in the shadows and blown out hightlights. I think it probably has more to do with exposure and development rather than how it is printed.

Hope I didn't sound like a self-important jerk. I just thought you might want a real opinion.

I Laura! I love your work, a super composition and great toning make a fabulous picture with a fantastic angle of shooting...

Laura Lee   {K:990} 4/20/2003
The high contrast/blown out highlights are from the lighting...taken in a ray of bright morning sunlight coming through the window...I liked the harsh light...which is why I took the photo this way, but thanks for the honest opinion. I appreciate it a lot. It seems like people have stopped giving useful comments around here lately and simply give praise (but thakns Yvon for your insight as well!)... I wish more people would take the time to give me such a thoughtful perpective as you have Jonathan.

My opinion is complementary A that of Jonathan and is less tecnic but more on the artistic dimension thanks!
