Hey Terry,
Yup, Ft. Funston is about a 3 minute drive from where I live so I try to make it out there every now and then after work to try and catch some sunsets. I wasn't planning on shooting hang gliders but luckily they were out on this day.
I want to try and make it out to Fleet Week - most likely Sunday since that's my only day off. Unfortunately, the longest lens I have is only 135mm; then again, it's probably better to shoot a bit wider to include the cityscape. I've only watched the show from Crissy Field. Aquatic Park has some great views but I know it's going to be packed. Know of any good spots for photographers?

This has a great sense of freedom. It must be such a thrill to be up there. I wouldn't want to do it, I guess I'm too chicken, but for those who do it, it must be breathtaking. Gorgeous colours.
