Hi Shirley,

Perfect land- or better waterscape ! I can image you like this spot. Nice atmosphere, a dreamspot that suits well to the themeproject. Nice soft view with colors that fit well to it. Good composition to with the tree hanging over from the left and the POV you chose. Compliments !

Greetz,
Albert

Doyle D. Chastain   {K:99839} 10/5/2006
I can see why it's a favorite. The water looks cold, yet tranquil and the colors of nature here are like the textures . . . differing and interesting. Beautiful.

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Excellent idea to capture the fall before the great jump and not after. The water suddenly disappears and the trees arrive from nowhere. Splendid the color and texture of the river. I like also the unusual forground that frame the image and give depth.
Brava, always.
Ciao Shirley.

Giuseppe

Beautiful capture, what part of Washington is this?

Shirley D. Cross   {K:140722} 10/6/2006
The Dosewallups River is just off the Hood Canal. There is a little town there, but I can't remember it's name. Thank you, Larry!:)

This is such a beautiful composition sweetie and easy to understand your love of this location. I love the L/H framing with the rocks and the leaning tree trunk. I love too the gentle mistiness towards the background. This is an excellent entry into the project with it's calming atmospheric peacefulness. Well done to you sweet Shirley. My very best wishes to you as always.....Ray;)

Now this is magical, I love the autumn colors combined with the layer of fog just above the water. Very nice autumn scene, not to mention river scene. Your framing with the rocks and tree on the left is perfect, gives just enough to show depth of view.

Best,
Dave

Thank you again for your wonderful comments, Dave!:)
