Wow, great shot! I love the contrast between the sheep and the sky. Awesome!

ok ...maybe it's just me, maybe I have retina burn or something from sitting in front of this computer for too long, but I could have sworn on this thumbnail that the clouds were swirling...actually moving on my screen. Lo and behold I pull up the large view and they are still doing it (stare at the monitor for about ten seconds)!!! Truly a fantastic, moody image, brilliant contrasts with the sky being darker at the top edge of the frame and the grass at the bottom edge also, then blending into lighter tones....and then that bright band in the centre. Amazing!!! The graininess, bright dots of sheep and windblown grass give great texture...anyway I ramble, but this is a very stunning image. Well executed, I love it.
cheers, Bek

easy to see why this is editors choice. I like the way the ground fades away into the sky in the background. really rich in details and textures. wonderful sky and tones.

Giuseppe Guadagno   {K:34002} 10/5/2006
It's a great pleasure to look at this image Arnoldas. I continue to gaze the two expanses both beautiful for the lights. The upper has all the tones of gray, starts dark and lands light in the grass; the lower has all the same tones on the wool of the sheeps, till joining the sky. I bring it home.
Ciao.

Giuseppe

We are the sheep. The storm lies in our future yet we do not take shelter. We simply continue to graze and consume. Wonderful photo.
