About Another bloom from Lizzie's Garden. This was annoying as I had to burn out the entire b/g as Ihave no idea how else to get a nice solid b/g any other way. I have tried lasso etc but the paint bucket effects other colours in the image. Any other ideas (apart from a foam core board) would be greatly appreciated.
cheers, Bek

Wow! Rebecca, what a striking floral image! Great colours! Real eye candy!

Do you want me to be 'picky', again? :)) Oh, just a tiny bit? :) Here I go - I can't help myself.... I would have left a little more open space between the top of the flower and the purple frame! Woooh, now I've said it, I feel better! :)))

Again, a lovely image! Well done!

Cheers

Phil

Phil, I am here to learn!!! A little more space sounds good to me, I like it when people get on and say 'nice shot, great colour'....but I LOVE it when people get on and say what they really think and how it may be improved!! Your input is greatly valued and your honesty appreciated. Thankyou....oh and by the way...you forgot to rate this one too!! ONLY JOKING LOL
cheers, Bek :)

Ooh ooh..can you make sure the card has flowers on the front, and space at the top, and no writing on the front...just on the inside? Thanks Phil, cheers, Bek xxx kekekeke

Hi rebecca
perfect macro perfect colors.

rebecca claassen   {K:16410} 10/5/2006
As you know Shirley, I struggle with my backgrounds (thanks for the info on the blanket too) so thanks for your gentleness...lol. Glad you like it and thanks again for your comment.
cheers, Bek

You did a great job with the background Bek! Great light to bring out the texture and add some interesting shadows, excellent detail and wonderful BOLD color Bek. I agree with Phil...little more room at the top. The center thingy (technical huh?) is a bit oof, unless of course you wanted it that way, then it's all good! Whew, that IS difficult!
Take care...Robin :)

rebecca claassen   {K:16410} 10/5/2006
Hidyho Robin, no I didn't want the 'center thingy' out of focus but my funny little fixed lense camera is not too good on the macros! I had to toss up over the 'center thingy' or the 'purple bits' and so chose the ' purple bits', am furiously saving for an SLR for more diversity. Thanks for looking in and the honesty is appreciated as always.
cheers, Bek

Phil, you're killing me!!! I just posted a comment on your 'grazing in frost' I really liked it...and lo and behold, I click submit and ...GONE!!! Grrrr

Phillip  Minnis    {K:13078} 10/6/2006
Oh, my dear, that's me - get used to it! :))))) I'm a perfectionist - didn't you know? :))))

I only left it on there for long enough to have a look at it - I didn't like it - it had really obvious halos above the trees - so, off it came! :)))

I've amended it - I'm about to put it up -MINUS THE TREES! :)))) Let me have a look at it, first, before you comment on it! If it's still there in a couple of minutes - I've accepted it - it will be left there for the world to see! LOL LOL LOL

Cheers

Phil

Sandra Anderson   {K:5837} 10/6/2006
This is beautiful..so vivid and delicate shadows. The stamen and style aren't as in focus as the purple stringy bits...is that on purpose? Very nice photo!!!

rebecca claassen   {K:16410} 10/6/2006
Hi Sandra, yes and no. As you may read in my comment above, the camera I am using has limited macro abilities (poor little trooper) so I had to pick and went for the 'purple bits'. Thankyou for your very nice and enthusiastic comment, much appreciated,
cheers, Bek
