Good conversion! The rays showering the sea from behind the mattress of clouds are thus made more visible! And the presentation is also elegant!

Cre... crepisc.. ular(?) something or other rays, are pretty tricky to capture I hear (read somewhere really). I guess because they come and go with the movement of the clouds. It's all about being at the right place at the right time and being absolutely good to go. Great work with the conversion. Solid. I love the framing too. Very elegant.

Toshi    {K:12021} 10/6/2006
Rina,
You made me go and search for the name of these rays; "crepuscular" :) I never knew there was a name for them - guess you learn something new everyday, thanks! ;) I was happy to catch these rays since I've always seen them, but as you said, they go away so quickly. Thanks again for all your recent comments!

Saeed,
As always, I thank you for your wonderful and supportive comment. Much appreciated my friend.

Hi Toshi,
As Rebecca said, "subtle" is a good word for this one, especially when refering to the delicate rays.

What I find so attractive about the B&W converted landscapes. They take a bit longer to get into than the "candy coloured" versions, but they have a lot of staying power in our minds.

Jinggoy Montenejo   {K:7255} 10/9/2006
Excellent Landscape Toshi! The sun shinning through gives it it's mood. Did you go out to shoot for Fleetweek? Lot's of photographers out yesterday.

Toshi    {K:12021} 10/9/2006
Hi Jinggoy,
Thanks for the comment. Today was my only day off to try and get down to Fleet Week, but I had to take care of things in the morning and didn't feel like dealing w/ traffic in the afternoon. Maybe next year :)

Mary Brown   {K:67759} 10/17/2006
This looks really beautiful in B&W. There is a crispness the detail that is quite lovely. Super.
