The colour of the sky is waht first caught my eye, it looks as if it is on fire, and the contrast between the tranquil lake/river and surrounding countryside is amazing. Is this natural or have you done work to it to get the sky that colour? Either way what an absolutely stunning shot.

Beautiful use of complementary reds and greens my dear Ameed! Hey welcome back my friend. This image is beautiful. Whilst it may not be to everyones liking, the challenge Peace and Tranquility seems to mean many different aspects for everyone. Therefore I find this one to be quite the suited image to the challenge with the firey red skies and the calming scene below. yes ameed i do agree with u about the sky but there is no link between the sky and the land this can be fixed by the CS by adding a filters its only my opinion

Thanks allot for your usual in depth analyst and for your work on the picture.
I really like the way you treated it, It is more to my taste :)
But I got to notice through the years with UF that you Either try to keep it as natural as possible, and get your picture accepted more as a photograph, or extremely manipulated, get the result I want, and end up getting it reviewed more as an Art more than a Photo.
Thus, I tried to keep my manipulation to the minimal while keeping the sky and trees as natural as possible :)
This doesn't mean by any chance your efforts are not appreciated, On the contrary, they are very highly appreciated.

Hi, Ameed ,when it comes to reality I like always the way the original photographed did to his/her work, others can not see what he/she sees.
but when an offer comes to how individual see the work then it must be each one has his/her taste that is related to the background of individuals .
I have to tell you a secret, am actually specialized in desert dunes for years, and my participation here or in other sites is a kind of fun and joy, that is `cos am sharing with different photographers, I did post of my specialty just very few images been uploaded here :), but I like to try new things especially filters plug in or with editing tools.
Am glad you kept it as you like it,, and see the result is a BIP,,

Its always great to see new work from you.
I like what you've done here. am assuming that its a combination of 2 images, as i see clear difference between the sky and the landscape. the sky is soo red and warm and the land is so cool with its greenery, which is creating a sort of contrast and disconnection. i think if you tweak the Hues to bring it close to the red level and increase the Saturation a tiny bit it might work better -see the attached photo-.

A stunning color palette and an even more stunning contrast between the redish hues of the sky, the greenish of the woods and the grey-green-blue textures of the water surface. All three components are so excellently exposured that this image turns to one of the best BIPs I have the joy to see!

That is the power of RAW capturing, allows us to adjust the exposure correctly for selective areas, and this is what i've done here, selective layers, and adjust the exposure for water, trees and sky,
