About Another shot from today in Argentina, in the Patagonia region. Only a few Km from the Chile border.
This morning a huge storm rolled through with massive winds blowing large waves on the lake besides our hotel. But by the mid afternoon it was clear and sunny allowing for some back country exploring.

Love the look and feel of the trees. Reminds me of Bonsai.

Berautiful work Tim. I must visit this area the next time I visit Chile.

I like the composition of the trees against those impressive clouds, Tim!

Looks like those trees have seen a few storms in their lives Tim. Very dramatic with that dark sky, but with a hint of a beautiful afternoon with the patches of blue.

Hi Tim - great images! I feel the graduated filter did not work well here as it unaturally darkened the upper reach of the tree.

Hi Eb

I don't think the ND was doing the shading here as the cloud behind me was creating a very narrow slit of sun which was not quite hitting the tree to the fullest in the upper reaches.....but then i may be worng here. The light was changing so fast coming in and out as the clouds in high winds were whipping by.
Thanks for your insight
Cheers, Tim
