The actual photograph itself is good - depth of field in fantastic, and I like the detail in the skin and hair (although a little more light on the eyes might help?).
I can't help thinking that the thick black frame takes away from the image as a whole. Especially since the photograph is very dark (not in a bad way), it makes his face seem lost and loses power. A good shot nonetheless :)
