Love the detail and color of this still life. I real eye popper.
--Best to you, Jan

Threre is so much texture in this subject, and you have captured it very well. The lighting really helps to show off this texture. Very well done.

Thankyou once again Jan for taking the time to view and comment, much appreciated,
cheers, R

Yeah Bek...awesome! Excellent detail, excellent composition, excellent color...love the pipe coming out of nowhere! Did I mention excellent?

Another fine post O' Queen of Rust...have to find you a rusty, old crown to wear. ;)
Take care...Robin

Thankyou so much Ashley for your great comment. I shot this outdoors in full sun, then burnt out the b/g (nearly went blind trying to keep the webs!!! LOL) and saturated the colour slightly. Glad you enjoyed looking,
cheers, R

Excellnet Idea Rebecca!
I just love how you took this old
peice just as it was and bring it
into the studio and put it under
lights! Great job!!
Wonderful details and sharp as
a tack! It contrast well against
the black back ground! a Fantastic

Big Congrats!

Hey there Paul, thankyou for your great comment. Actually, this was taken in situ, out in the bush in full sun. I had to burn in the background to get the black b/g, was quite a task!!! The pipe was far too big to take anywhere and half buried under the dirt.
cheers, R

Thankyou Christine for both of your very kind comments, much appreciated, I need to steer away from the rust for a while tho' I think, find another obsession!
cheers, Bek
