Ah! These are lenticular clouds, Melanie, caused by high-altitude winds getting forced over the mountains.

Great catch, but I would consider cropping off about 20% of the sky at the top.

Very singular and so interesting nature's gift!
the clouds in the sky are just unbelieveble.
You have captured a special moment here.

I agree about cropping a bit off the top. Lovely shot, I don't see the pixelation. Great capture.

What a beautiful title, love it! and what a beautiful shot, the colors in the sky are just gorgeous, I do agree agree the cropping on the top but other than that I don't see anything wrong with the image, well spotted!

Thank you for the comment on my photo "the window" :)

You know what, I considered doing a square crop on this to remove the empty space, but then didn't... dunno why really! LOL

I have a question I've been meaning to ask you, so I will shoot you an email shortyly! Thanks for the feedback :)

Thanks, Rachel! I didn't do anything in PS to enhance this! It was crazy! Which is why I grabbed my camera, hopped in my car and went to take some photos! I am not even good with this landscape type of stuff, but I couldn't pass it up!
