IS the end of the cooking? Tell me Robert, what is the meal for this fest? Great point of view This is almost a journalistic serie to show us how the hungarian people live. I'm surprised that, even during a fest, they cooked the meal for a lot of people in pot and using fire. This is a nice return to our roots.
Nicely done my friend.
Cheers..
Have a nice day.

I like this image Robert! I feel it is well composed, you've captured the chef in his element, the pots stewing food, the wood by the table and the very busy tables. Gives us all an idea of how it was during the event! Your color treatment is also well done. Gives an "old photo" look.

Michele Carlsen   {K:140625} 10/11/2006
Hi Robert ,

We like the cooking part , and now 2 pots going at the same time with one chef..whooowhwoooo !!!

I can smell it from here Robert... Plenty of food and quality wines... people are set for a great feast.

I love to cook over open fire, but it's not easy with-out lots of practice!

Wonderful series... maybe we will see dancing sometime ? I love to dance.... Also enjoy the light and tones, of this interesting image....

How long does this celebration last Robert? and where does it happen ... in town, in the country ? Just curious ...

I enjoy this series very much. Thank You for sharing it so well...

Best wishes my friend,
Michele~

Dear my friend, thanks for your generous and kind comment, really much appreciate it. Well this festival was three days, it was a long weekend 01-02-03 of September in Budapest, at my local place where I live in Pestszentlőrinc (this is the XVIII.th district). I do love to dance, this festival was a multicultural event, modern music and traditional music, but the main attraction was the cooking tourney. You'll can see more pictures from ladies with traditional dress wearing later. I am so sorry but cannot taken image from dance 'cause I cannot there everyday, I was busy. ;( But I have another series from traditional dance, and dancers...if I have free time share you! :)
Thanks again for your time and interest dear my friend!

Have a great day dear Michele, A hug!
Robert

I greatly enjoyed browsing through all the SeptemberFest series. It looks like you guys were having a lot of fun making great food over an open fire. Unfortunately there was no way to embed the music into the images:) so I can only guess you were listening to some cheerful tune.
