Jan, thankyou so much for your comment, it does look quite weathered and cruddy doesn't it!!
cheers, Bek

I want to visit your garden. How many interesting things live there!!! Another great photo - I didn't even realise it was one of yours...it grabbed my attention in the "recent" thumbnails and had to have a better look. I like it!

Sandra you are a gem to comment so kindly on my images. I always appreciate hearing from you, but feel you would be terribly disappointed in my garden!!! LOL I am glad that this was attention grabbing, I feel that when you look for too long at it your eyes start to go a bit funny, maybe it's just me tho'.
Anytime you are down this way be sure to let me know and we could tour around together looking for great photo ops!
cheers, Bek

I LOVE how you search out (or stumble upon) interesting texture Bek! Excellent detail, great choice to convert!

Hey Robin, this was another backyard job...I think Ihave snapped just about everything out there (oh no!!!). The original colour was that yucky green of treated pine and so not appealing at all.The B+W set off the contrasts much better.
smiles at you, Bek

And vice versa...am sure you would make something interesting from my garden where it's just grass...grass...grass...oh and more grass! thank god for the lake! congrats on being feature critique too!

rebecca claassen   {K:16443} 10/11/2006
You have GRASS??!!! Oh you are so lucky, we have a dust bowl out the front and a jungle out the back, which technically is grass...but I'm sure there are creatures in there! No, Hubby is quite fond of his lawnmower, thankyou for the congrats, not too sure on how that happened but I will enjoy it while I can.
cheers to you up north, Bek

You're welcome, dear Bek!:)

Excellent Rebecca! I would rotate the picture 90deg clockwise to let the soft out of focus area lead one into the sharp detailed central area. Great work!
