About As we traveled though the back roads of Patagonia near the setting sun these wild horses were grazing next to the road side and I took the time to shoot some shots before the clouds darkened the foreground and then I would lose the drama of the moment

Your capture can not be mixed... your low angle view gives a great perspective and interesting background dof. the Horses also of excellent use as to give as to show the dimension and the vast area.
Superb

Hi Tim,

You definitely get around! Beautiful windy feel of the tampa (?) The compsoition, with the horizon in the top third, allowing the foreground to become an important element of the photo is great - I always like that approach.

The horses create the characteristical view, nicely saturated, and an excelllent use of light - the shadow over the hill in the background adds the finishing touch. Very well done!

Cheers,

Hugo

Great perspective here, Tim, and the horses really add interest and scale to the whole scene, even though it would be gorgeous without them. Congrats on a well deserved and overdue POD Award, too!
Dave.

Hello Tim, thanks for the visit, always nice to see you. This is wonderful, I love the contrasting golds in the foreground and the blues in the background, nice use of foreground elements to draw the eye in, and a lovely view, very well composed. I bet Argentina is a beautiful country!! Congratulations for the well deserved award. How's the painting coming along? :) Lin
