About I was in a feild with loads of Deer in, but they kept running out of range - darn timid they are.

So I just went and found these heifers a few hundred yards away. If you stand fairly still near them, they soon come over and start licking you.

Best to have a wide lens.

This is using my still-broken 15-30 on a 5D, quite heavily dropped to cut to the chase.

shallow DOF with the stuck open apertuew means that only the noses are in focus - an effect I like. Though maybe f8 would have been better than f3.5 in this instance.... best get that thing fixed one day!

Hi Ade,

Perhaps a bit overexposed in the sky, but shooting cows with a wide angle is gret - funny creatures, and a fun shot. It's amazing how inquisitive they are - they make very obedient and patient models, don't they?

Cheers,

Hugo
