Awesome Dof, and great tone! More than an ordinary pet picture! Great work!

Excellent, interesting composition. Wonderful use of DoF.

Hi Chris-this is so well done, and funny too

Jeanne Wells   {K:14271} 4/21/2003
I can't think of a thing I'd change here, Chris. The composition and DOF are wonderful -- and very fun -- the tones are good. Not your average cat shot, and very well done!

sadaf farahani   {K:1740} 4/21/2003
very good, it seems that it is a singer portrait;)

Randy Stokes   {K:1468} 4/21/2003
Great stuff here Chris. I think the way you used the DOF to move the clutter around the cat out of focus is just excellent. Puts your eye right where it should be, but has the cat getting into something as cats just do. Tonal range, focus and lighting are right on... as usual.

I love to see animals photos, esp. those "are" cats. i love the DOF and the lighting in this photo so much, which make this capture so original and impressive. btw, is karen a blue cat? Best regards!

Petros Stamatakos   {K:12101} 4/24/2003
Truth be told, I hate photos of cats. However, this is done exceptionally well...

As always, excellent work Chris!
