About An image from Chania. I love "workshops" like this of which we almost have none left in Denmark. They add such life to a town.

Wow . . . the rounded Gaussian blur area makes it difficult to check this cobbler for hair on his feet. Perhaps a hobbit??

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Hi Annemette,

I like these shops too... so much more personal. I also like the way the pov is so sharp and the rest is more blurred than just DOF ( I think?) You may need to correct me on this one .. but I do hope you understand what I am trying to say...

I missed you for awhile ... hope all is well..

Best wishes,
Michele~

That's a great one! Selective blurryness that enhances the protagonist without letting the rest of the scene disappear. Especially the face of the shoemaker and his smile while his hands move while he is working. He is working but still doesn't forget to live.

A picture that should make us know why the sun is shining so warm in the south. It is because it's shining in people's hearts.

Very good work!

Best wishes,

Nick

P.S.: Thanks heavens there are still enough of them Lucerne. I hope that Fabio will be able to repair my old winter shoes without wanting to have yet another espresso with me! ;-)
