It's not quite sharp enough at its sharpest point. What could've been a magnificent image is just pretty good to me. Maybe a reshoot but the lighting is probably hard to catch again.

stingRay part 2 .   {K:139441} 10/20/2006
This is an excellent still life study with a fine abstract look to it. The composure is stunning with the diagonalised entry of the stringed instrument. Pof and dof are superb and the lighting is excellent. Well done to you my good friend, let's see more of your work please.

I hope you are keeping well Mohammad and that everything in your life is OK. It is always a matter of great concern when our friends go missing for long periods of time. Take care of yourself and I will hope to 'see' you again soon. My very best wishes to you as always good friend......Ray:)

It will not surprise me, in case you get and an award for this very poor quality image Dear Mohammad, every thing around UF is possible these days, that’s of course in order not to loose a donare.
All of my best wishes to you

Mohammad Porooshani   {K:20705} 11/2/2006
Dear Teerak, I don't know what are you talking about, but, I'm just tired of this game you're playing with me, really tired...

Ken Leone   {K:350} 12/7/2006
I've looked at some of your other abstract pictures, and I like them quite a bit. I also like your other photographs. This particular example doesn't appeal to me as much. Like some others, this one gives the viewer a little piece in focus, and the rest not. That works very well with clouds, or in "Pictures of Peace" with grass in focus against a blurry deer (?) background. Those pictures tell me something about the background; they are interesting; they are strong graphic images. To me, this one doesn't have those positive features. The graphic character of this image isn't that appealing to me. It doesn't give me much information about the subject. Of course, as an abstract, that's not its purpose. But I guess I'm looking for SOMETHING about the subject in a photograph.

I'll check out some of your others and try to give you some comments on those. I really do like the looks of most of what I've seen so far.

Mohammad Porooshani   {K:20705} 12/7/2006
Dear Ken,
before I try to reply you about comments you left on my works, I want to THANK you for your great ideas about my works, I was out and just inactivated in this site because I was getting just kind and welcome comments on them, what I truly don't need at all! I need someone to talk about photographs.
you know, I got so much photos in my PC and I was not eager to post here, because I think they won't be understood!
but now, I'm pretty happy, I found you, you are talking to me about Photographs, it's a miracle (thanks God!).
well, starting with this shot: first of all, every small insect is still a living creature, that's how I look and think about mine and other's shots, this shot has it's own concept (at least for me myself). but I think it's better to be categorized in Details and not Abstracts, but, you are somehow right, this Musical instrument is well known in my country, but lots of people out there are not from my region, so, it became a mere try to be a Detail's photograph.
Maybe it has no positive feature even, but it remembers me those nights I just playing till dawn and then I slept with a HARSH memory of what I did last night with that instrument!, I know, this is a far meaning of the shot but, it's truly are.
Thank you very very much.
Mohammad
