Not anly colors in My sunset picture are hot but also weather is hot (more than 30 degree C)

I'm looking at your photos. there are nice pictures. Your vision is different. I liked it.

Mary Brown   {K:68553} 10/20/2006
I love the way you have captured the sphere of the Sun with the clouds around it. It looks pretty setting over the water. I think that placing the Sun not so much in the center would improve your lovely picture.

Thanks for your kind comment. I take the same scene with different compositions. The other one is attached, which one really is better?

Mary Brown   {K:68553} 10/21/2006
Hi Patrick. I think I like this one better. Of course, all pictures are a matter of personal taste--that of the photographer and that of the viewer. So, you need to do what pleases you.
Someone directed me to this web page http://www.silverlight.co.uk/tutorials/compose_expose/thirds.html that explains what is called the Rule of Thirds. It is the way a lot set up their photographs.
Whatever, I do nevy your capture of the Sun. I'd love to be able to get a picture with your colour and detail. When I try this kind of picture, I tend to have things overexposed.

Dear Mery, this photo is result of right time and right place! dont envy me.
the latitude of this island is about 20N near equator. weather was hot and relative humidity was more than 50% which help me to take such photo. If you like such weather, welcome...
thanks for link.

I agree with Mary Brown - no matter how hard I try - from all the flare I get, my sunsets always look like windmills. Are you saying that you did not use filters or polarizers of any kind to achieve the detail in the sun, Patrick? A lovely shot!

Patrick Sookiasian   {K:1386} 5/31/2007
Thanks for your kind comment Lydia. there was only a UV filter attached to my camera lenz. the sun is realy beutiful in Kish island!
