About This is a church on a Native reserve in North Vancouver. I am attracted by the contrast with the sky.

Great image here. Love the perspective. Excellent contrast with the sky. By the way, you asked where my steeple was located - Plano, Texas.

Good feeling of motion here, which is hard to do in an architectural, and the instinct to play the grey surface of the structure off the sky works.

I'd try to use the edges of the frame in a more assertive way. The frame is cutting through the arched windows on the right and the rose window in the center. I'd probably go a bit lower so that the lower corners of the two arched windows would just touch the edges of the frame and maybe even try to get the corner of the building to go through the corner of the frame. There are other ways of doing it, but the idea would be to play the geometry of the structure off the geometry of the frame.

Another question this raises is whether you need so much blue space on the left of the frame. Just holding up a sheet of paper against my screen, I think I'd crop it closer, unless maybe a cloud might drift by to make another composition possible.
