the thumbnail catch my eyes, the texture and how you've used the lines in this BW exposure. the leaning to the center and scatter lines which seems that all are going to a point in the end of right is realy interesting.

This made a difference (and improvement) with the wide matte. However, Shirley has an excellent critical eye and perhaps we both shared the same "delusion".

may try one more variation with pushing the whites in the top to fall off more... so they almost fade into the matte, leaving the contrast of the branches.
