About	At an antique shop in San Diego's Ocean Beach. In my quest to add more vintage typwriters to my portfolio, I stumbled on to a register of a different kind. This register appeared untouched since it was closed in 1972. With full cooperation from the store, I started shooting. The lighting was all ambient from the window that was about 40 feet behind me. I braced the camera on a fat chair back, and stood on the leg supports.. for my poor-man's tripod. I did find many typewriters to shoot, but this, for some odd reason, stood out to me. It's not until tonight, when I went back to look at these images from a few weeks ago, and I felt the same thing again when this shot appeared on the screen... that I wish I had more images of it. It has a very unique personality. ISO800 34mm

I drove Lisa crazy taking pictures in these antique shops. The shop owners loved it.. they would even ask if me if I needed more light!
