Geezzzz Bek... LOL... I'm certainly glad you came out with the camers... otherwise, this great shot would have gone unseen into the ether...
Excellent in all aspects, light, subjects which I gather you didn't pose ~GRIN~, colour, crop and frame... The mood is wonderful...

Whaddyya mean ...didn't pose the subjects!!! I was out there for hours rolling those hay bales around!! LOL
Thanks Onie for your comment, it is very much appreciated. I had to pull over on the freeway as I couldn't see the road to drive, the rain was so heavy!!! I think the drenching was worth it and heaven knows we need the rain.

Hello again, this is my favourite of the two, I learnt how to do that masking thingy in ps today (been reading through the old forums, getting some tips) and so was able to darken the sky up a bit without losing the light on the hay bales etc. Pretty nifty I think! LOL

This is a wonderful landscape capture if not for the upper portion of the sky been washed out, this is the luck of un even exposure at different zones of this image.
Other wise very beautiful place

Hi there Ali, the sky today was extreme in its differences with the rain coming in. Behind me in this shot there was blue sky and sunshine, so the light on the clouds was quite reflective.
I left the overexposure in to add to the intense mood of the approaching storm, but thankyou for your great comment anyway, as always, your thoughts are most appreciated,

Not that you would know it from the sky in this shot but we are looking at facing one of the driest summers on record over here in Australia, and scenes like this are very common (minus the rain clouds) at the moment, as all the farmers are harvesting their crops early to try to salvage some profit from them.
