Anson Moye   {K:3473} 11/5/2006
This image has an infinite amount of depth to it, Mary, and where the eye can venture no more, the imagination takes over. What does this wooden eye see, or is it truly wooden, or just an illusion? It appears part of a living being, but is that just my imagination? I have viewed this one several times, and always come away with something new, remarkable
y. Good to have you back, Mary, and in this case without at least some of the troublesome parts. Anson

Hi there sweet Mary how good to see a posting from you again.....I took a little time out to catch up on other matters in my life and I am once again way behind.....heyho.

This is a wonderful creative piece of photoart my dear friend and I love the way the tree has taken on the appearance of a passageway or alley and retained the look of an eye. Awesome details and textures with wonderful tonal qualities. Eye too look forward to seeing you next post. I owe you an 'e' and will catch up real soon. My very best wishes to you as always sweetie, big hug....Ray;)

Nice to see you back Mary, hope the recovery is going well.

This one really draws one in, almost feel like I'm falling into strange world inside a tree, leaving the current one behind. Maybe even expect to see a rabbit running along hinting for me to follow ;)

Take care...Robin

Ian McIntosh   {K:38822} 11/10/2006
The hard contrast works here. I guess not commonly used in such a deception as your channel in the knot. More effective for that than any ammount of diffuse vagueness (equally vague in its hardness).
Man I'm not sure I make sense to you but I promise I know what I'm talking about. (I think I'm being quite succinct actually...)

Nice picture Mary.

jacques brisebois   {K:57607} 11/10/2006
