About Friends asked me to take some shots of their new foal. As you can see he is still at that fluffy age (I think only two weeks old).
They were happy with the images I printed for them, especially this one, Mum & Bub.

Hi again Gust@vo, thankyou so much for your very kind comment,
cheers, Bek

rebecca claassen   {K:16416} 11/5/2006
Shirley, I took lots of shots of these two, with this one being the sweetest. The foal and mare were confined in a pen, and so it was relatively easy to shoot them (oooeer!...so to speak...LOL) but the foal was jumping around a lot, so I was very happy to catch this quiet moment.
Thanks for the lovely comment, cheers, B

This couldn't be better even if you had them in a studio. They look like they are posing for you.
Sensitive and beautiful photo that conveys that maternal bond that can never be described in words. You caught the "look" just at the right moment. Framing and composition: PERFECT.
--Best to you, Jan

rebecca claassen   {K:16416} 11/9/2006
Jan, you are too kind!! I could say it was a lucky shot....but I took so many of these two that I ended up with three or four really good ones (I think) and this was my fave.
I'm not really one for shooting animals..except rabbits..LOL, but I couldn't resist this.
Thanks again for your very kind words,
cheers,Bek
