Abrazos, Dave

Hi Dave,

You know I love these images! I tried to avoid it but I finally have to tell You it's really nice. Being a PS exercise I am not sure what is real and what is enhanced and added:((
If you have the time maybe you could tell me ?
Regardless it is a beautiful image that I enjoy very much !

Best wishes,
Michele~

Hi Michele and thanks. The left half of the photo is the original composition. I mirrored and flipped it to make the right half of the photo and hence, the "temple" or altar in the center. I used three different filters on it including, I beleive, colored pencil adding the shades of green and beige. Lastly, I didn't want the sky mirrored so I replaced it. I also used the burn tool as well as contrast and level changes.

Thanks again,
Dave

You are welcome, Michele. I also forgot to say that I used a channel mixer or selective color on one layer... turning that layer almost pure red and that all the filtered layers were set to various opacities before I felt it was "just right".

It was also converted to grayscale and then back to RGB color before applying the filtered layers. Sheesh, I should write these things down.

Dave
