Excellent capture of a wonderful moment Annemette !! I think you've a family of mermaids ( x-cept for your husband of course ) It's more of a pleasure viewing these images while winter has hit hard here in Oregon !!! 7+++ Lovely light, tones, and composition. Wishing You The Best, Michele~

Great tonality and contrast on this, Annemette. And also a very nice composition which is way more than funny mermaids in the sea!!!
Two generations, two human beings, the young and the old in the very same water. The young human being seems to be still at the beginning of the sea, lying naively at the shore, being just about to begin the journey. The old human being seems to be returning from the journey, and also to be encouraging the young one to come into the water, to start its journey through life!
The irony is that the same shore that is the start of the journey for the young, is at the same time the end of the journey for the old. And all this coming and going seems to be useless when we all end up at the same shore, but still it happens. And the only known answer to the question why it happens is: Just because!
I would only suggest to crop off the upper part for getting rid of the top right corner, since it eliminates the optical purity of the main actor here, who is not the grandmother and not the granddaughter but the sea of life in which they are both embedded for a limited time.
Great work!
Nick
P.S.: Perhaps John Lennon was right. Life could be simply what happens to you while you're thinking of other things! Go figure!

Thank you so much Michele! No, my husband is King Neptun;-) We´ve also had storms, floods and snow here in Denmark, so it really is nice to get a feeling of times that will come back again. I´m sorry if I reply so late, but the server is so very slow. I don´t get comments until a couple of days later which makes it hard to keep this ping-pong feeling when chatting with each other. I hope you´re well. Annemette

Dear Doyle I got your comment after three days! A slow server indeed! Yes, I guess we´re coldblooded vikings - beware of the gang of viking maids:-0 I do prefer warm weather though:-) Have a nice weekend, Annemette
