About this is an Oil Print - a VERY old and interesting technique. but I am afraid it is a VERY VERY difficult one to master - as I clearly don't.. my beloved twin brother always put me down, when looking at this... "learn it proberly".. and I would love to.. Basicly it is oilpaint applyed to a sheet of paper, that has been covered in gelatine and potassium di-chromate (extreamly poisonous!!). then lit by the sun through a large negative (this is 8x10").. then soaked in water..... The oilpaint is applyed with a special brush, and then removed again with another kond of brush.... that's it... and the rest is rehearsal...

This is beautiful, an excellent artwork! But I think it's a little bit to much space on top... Wouldn't it be better to crop a bit from there?
