About Since almost a month, every morning when I open the window of my study I see this little being glued on the glas, always in the lower left angle. He must move because I find him always in different poses but inside his chosen home, five square centimeters large. He is just in front of my desk so I see all day long this silent, still, afectionate friend. I don't know if he looks at me throgh the glas. Before his inevitable leaving I captured a souvenir picture. The window was open in front of a yellow house.

A wonderful abstract you have created with the help, of course, from your little friend... :)
He has more than likely been posing and waiting all along hoping you would grab your camera... :)

The tones are great Giuseppe...

Onie...

Very graphic rendering, Giuseppe! Look like computer art with the clean shape, high contrast and texture.

Mi sembrava un muro..di quelli con lo smalto lucido..e invece è un vetro! Bellissima, sembra un dipinto..
Ottima la composizione, strana ma bella la cornice..
Bellissima la storia di questa tua piccola amica..;)

Well, here it is. Simplicity and structure. It has it all. Very homogeneous in tonalities, nice shapes and well placed in one of the "sweet spots".

An intriguing idea for a capture, which looks like a snail on the wall but something is... not as it should be. Since the snail is on the window glass and the wall is behind that, the snail looks like hovering over the yellow wall. The fact that it shimmers quite translucent makes it even more interesting. It absorbes the eye ofthe spectator in a very unusual way, while searching for a plane of reference which lies *behind* the main object.

A very interesting work! Nature, but captured somehow unnaturally!

Keep it up, Giuseppe!

Ciao,

Nick

A charming story in your about Giuseppe and a wonderful shot of this snail neatly enhanced from the reflected yellow of the nearby house. A good photographic opportunity captured well.

They look very decorative when caught in this harmless situation my dear friend but my lovely green fingered wife has declared war on them and the more sinister slugs that invade our garden. We have some very lovely water snails in the pond and they at least do a valuable job of work, so they live in peace from irrate gardening females:) My very best wishes to you as always.......Ray:)

Giuseppe Guadagno   {K:33980} 11/18/2006
Yes Ray, I too frequent a pond (not mine, pity), a place that seems static, motionless; instead it is very active, full of unespected meetings. I have dedicate a portfolio to this pond, where it is possible to see a water snail captured during a slow transfer among the leaves of waterlilies.
Have a good Sunday, Ray.

What a warm minimalistic capture. I love the gold tones. The patterns on the wall give it suprisingly quite a bit of depth. The unfinised framing ads a modern flair to your photo. I really like it, so simple and so very easy to look at.
