Hi Nathan,
I really like the use of strong light, and grain.
I also like that it makes the eye search, to decipher the words on his hat and the nice abstract shapes in general,

a very nice shot, Nathan. good contrast and use of shadows-- creates a very dramatic portrait. the heavy grain is a nice touch.

well it is not really a touch lol at night i try not to use a flash so my K100D has ASA 3200 so the grain is from that i just have to work with it and see if i can get some thing that works as they say do not work against the gran lol not always possible but some times i can do it
