Such nice autumns colors here Annemette! An almost mythical representation of that painting in nature! But you needed more sharpness here to capture each and every individual golden leave! This way the photo is really only half as nice as it could have been! Do you remember your settings perhaps?

Cheers,

Nick

Do you think that sharpening the leaves would make it look better? Hm maybe. I didnīt think of that. I like a more blurry soft natureimage, but you might be right. Thanks for your help!:-)
Best wishes,
Annemette

I meant having sharper focus at shooting time rather than sharpening afterwards. Sharpening the leaves afterwards could affect the contours negatively due to line echoes.

The problem of a narrower apperture at shooting time could have been the danger of motion blurring from the wind, though. But such patterns of leaves are always good for troubles.

Anyway, the idea of a soft focused natural scene is also tempting. The question is then of course, how much softness is appealing and that is really rather somthing of personal taste.

Keep it up and keep well,

Nick
