Hi Annemette - thanks for your kind comments on my photo of the owl. You are right it is a very beautiful bird and I was lucky in that the owl was part of a flying show for birds of prey at the zoo. After the show the handlers allowed the audience to view some of the birds at close qauters, so I was able to take some lose up pictures of the owl as it sat on the handlers arm. I may post some more of the photos I took later. Regards Jeff #

Oh thanks for your explanation! I did wonder how you could get that close even if having a lens.
I also tried having an eagle on my arm, but I didn´t get to take a photo though.
