Hi Joggie,
The colours look as if the terrain has been bleached by the sun - pale, with only a few hints of their original colour - reading your about does scatter that thought, though.
The contrast in bright reds and faded pale whites in the background is nice - as is the dry feel of the undergrowth in the foreground.
Eventhough it gives the impression of a slightly reduced saturation, I don't think it is - the feel of desert. Very intriguing shot - fascinating as usual.

Thanks Petal - the sky is as natural as can be although I had to desaturate it slightly since it was just too blue for my taste and in line with my memory in the original. Take care.
