This is beautiful BUT i think it could use a small amount of cropping on the right so the branch is not so centered. very well seen. sharp too.

That is correct! a very dry twig.

Such B&W photos are ideal for simple but strong compositions! Even the way the details are captured works towards enhancing the important things, creating that kind of strength that relies on the clarity of the scene. A bit overexposed at the upper right part, though perhaps in this case it is rather an advantage, since it supports the contrast to the dark plant.

Hi Leo, I really like this photo; it is well titled. Very simple, bold, and graphic, as well as nicely composed within the frame. This is truly a timeless image. It could have been made a thousand years ago or only yesterday.

I like the comp a lot but think that it needs more negative space (sand). I feel that if there was more sand and less twig it would emphasize the twig even more, and give the image even more breathing space.
