About this is a 360 degree pnoramic of the Mahon Falls in the Comeragh Mountains, Co. Waterford. Reworked to adjust the perspective and increase file size for printing (which incidently worked out to be 6 ft long)

Good to see you around again. This must be quite something at its full 6ft size. Is this a new enterprise or a one off? Any plans to re-enter APOY in 2007?

Hi Barry,

We both seem to be quiter than we were last year! From my point of view; I seem to be busy with commercial work lately which is not a bad complaint really. After that and my day job its hard to find the time to do anything else. I noticed that the "hobby" aspect of my photography certainly took a nose dive as a result of not entering APOY. Last week I picked up the magazine and noticed that this year's scoring is quite low too. So all in all I think its better to give it a go. I'll have a look at the themes and make a final decision then.

The above is something I've been at for a while. Using PT Gui you can get incredible results. I'm a fan of ultra wide angles so its perfect for me!

What have you been at yourself of late?

I've recently been studying the stunning portraits of Steve McCurry - get a look at his book 'Looking East' if you can and I've recently discovered black and white, a darkroom and, particularly, lith printing. Having converted my cellar to a darkroom I'm really enjoying the creative possibilities of this medium. Got myself a 1950s Linhof Technika 6x9 to give myself the authentic olde worlde experience! Digital? What's that then?

Might get round to APOY 2007. But I say that every year!

Glad the commercial work's picking up.

Cheers

Barry
