I like the calming colours, and i think your choice of mixing between the light brown and the shades of grey is great..
The wall's texture and lines give life to the picture..

It looks like an American football goalpost to me...I suppose that's religion to some...however, I doubt this window was created by intelligent design, unlike the photograph, which gets a 7 from me. Well spotted, Thilo.

I see the area for the title reference :)
A nicely balanced image in composition and the pleasing, easy on the eyes colours. There is just enough rough edge in the weathered panes to keep the image from being too sweet. So over all I would say the image works very well.
