LoL! I sense the streaks of color aren't just a local thing! One son came home with a girl with bright red streaks. Two of my sons at one time or other had BLUE! I continue to wonder about the changing fads and styles but many times now I have seen LOVELY girls with unusual hair color or streaks of color. I must not be that old . . . since I'm becoming used to it. It helps when attractive young girls trend set because they can seem to make anything look good. My son's girl and Amy . . . both very pretty . . . look great with unique hair coloring. Sounds like Brian and Bob are wonderful for you and you for them. Your portraits of them are amazing and I don't know how they can continue to look so natural when you get them to pose. Natural models I gather. Of course . . . you capture them like a pro my friend . . . and someday I will be able to do that too. Practice, practice, practice . . . uhhhhhhh . . . and studio lighting?? Stay well Ray! And keep shooting . . . it's always great to see your work!

I honestly can't see a thing to complain or nitpick about on either one :)
I might favour the attachment slightly over the one posted. Not sure why, maybe the hand positions?

These tints the girls use are something else aren't they??? They do look good though. I keep wondering if I should paint my bald spot a subtle shade of blue or go real ape with rich bright red
The girls both spoil me with their great enthusiasm and the camera loves them, particularly young Sophie. Amy is more of a challenge as she has a very oval face, quite narrow and I get my best results if the lower part of her chin is covered a little to reduce that length. I have to keep talking to Amy to prevent taking some of her 'that's-not-Amy-false-looking smiles'. So in my shoots with her I get to take 20% as keepers which keeps Sarah and Adam and the kid's grandparents happy. Sophie is a total natural and she and her parents are spoilt for choice when the results of a shoot are viewed.
Oh how I wish I had a purpose made studio my friend but I have to say our large conservatory with it's multi position blinds and great light traps serve me very well. All natural lighting in these shots, no exceptions. I have a Canon speedlight which I bought some while ago, I rarely use it as I really hate the influences it has in my areas of work. It does come in handy at work as I tend to be the 'official' company photographer, a title that means nothing other than I'm a malleable member of staff.
