Fantastic capture of a wildlife scene... I wouldn't go with sepia finish though, but that is only my personal hate to sepia coming through!
Well done nevertheless for capturing such a moment with great detail.

Thanks Rod . . . appreciate the comment. Sepia is, indeed, a personal choice . . . and I normally use it to represent a historical or vintage feel. In this case, though, the B&W felt too blue to accent the warmth I wanted to convey . . . hence the 'light' sepia . . . not the full blown Sepia one sees more commonly . . . the sepias overtone is about 60% of usual strength.
Anyway . . . thanks very much for the input! :)

Sorry about the technical mumbo jumbo . . . I should have realized that others might have troubly following - particularly blonds and blondes (among whose number I count myself)!! So, as a service to those who need it - allow me to translate:
After pointing the camera at the bird and pushing the button . . . I used a computer to wipe off the color . . . and * poof * Like magic . . . here it is!! LoL!
