yeah I am hearin ya .. I reckon this might have been better shot under a softer light say incandecent just to bring up the warmth ya get from this kind of thing.. Days gone by eh checkit

I agree with you Roger about the lighting. I did shoot it in black and white and Sepia to try and give it an older look. My original concept I wanted to shoot with a soft spot light on it. In this particular shot I wanted the viewer to be able to make out the date on the high school year book. I love those kind of pictures on the link you sent me. I have a few photos of my uncle and his buddies when he was stationed in Hawaii just a few years prior to the attack on Pearl Harbour.
